New Tax Law and the CPA Exam

The President of the United States signed the Tax Cut and Jobs Act into law in December 2017. Given its extensive effect, the AICPA is working with its Board of Examiners (BOE) to determine the timeline for introducing the law into the Uniform CPA Examination. Once a final implementation timeline is determined, the AICPA will notify stakeholders in early 2018. No testing of this legislation will occur prior to July 1, 2018.

Online Scores Now Available for Texas, Virgin Islands

CPA Examination candidates from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Virgin Islands Board of Accountancy are now able to view their exam scores online. Only the scores from the current testing window are available.

To view online scores, candidates need their Exam Section ID Number and Date of Birth.

Online scores are not official until validated by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Virgin Islands Board of Accountancy. Once validated, candidates will receive score notifications and forms through the normal email and postal processes.
