NASBA’s School Performance Book features reporting and statistical data on first-time takers of the Uniform CPA Examination
NASHVILLE, TENN., (FEBRUARY 26, 2015) – The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), author of the 2014 Uniform CPA Examination Candidate Performance Book, today announces the release of a companion publication, the 2014 Uniform CPA Examination School Performance Book (School Performance Book), which features comprehensive statistical data from all four testing windows of the 2014 Uniform CPA Examination.
First published in 2013, the School Performance Book was designed to meet the growing needs of educational institutions. The publication allows for easier comparison of institution performance with various other categories including: other universities, all schools in a given state/region and internationally-educated students. Additionally, the publication’s full-page graphical reports for states, regions and universities, provide a view into performance by region and program size among peer institutions.
According to James Suh, NASBA’s Director of Continuous Improvement & Analytics, the School Performance Book is a resourceful tool for accounting leaders and professors as it closely measures the performance of a school’s accounting program. It also supports decision making and tracking of changes to the curriculum, admission criteria or other variables inherent to an institution’s accounting curriculum.
“Accounting program faculty and administrators have greatly benefitted from the publication’s statistics on First-Time Examination takers and students taking the Uniform CPA Examination within one year of graduation,” said Suh. “We encourage accounting programs across the U.S. to use the publication’s findings as a benchmark for success.”
The School Performance Book (softback version) is now available for $250. The eBook version (available in two weeks), sells for $200. Click the following links to purchase the latest edition, and preview the comprehensive school listing and free 2014 sample data report.
