Enforcement NewsletterFebruary 2014As boards deal with more federal referrals or complaints stemming from cross-border practice, each board may be considering new policies for handling these different types of enforcement cases. Procedures dealing specifically with cross-border practice may be the “missing link” in your board’s enforcement policies. A current goal is to create recommended guidelines for enforcement of cross-border enforcement issues and federal referral cases, which will also assist in uniformity of how these matters are handled among the boards. If you have any policies or practices already in place to deal with these issues, please share that information with the Enforcement Resources Committee. If the policies are not public record, the information can be kept within the Committee. This information would be extremely helpful as the Committee works to develop a recommended approach for enforcement. |
