Launch of Investigator Training Series

The Enforcement Resources Committee is pleased to announce the Investigator Training Series, now available on the NASBA.org website. This series of training modules utilizes the Brainshark platform and has been created to provide guidance to assist investigators in understanding the enforcement process for Boards of Accountancy. The modules also include sample forms to help the investigator with the steps of a successful investigation, such as samples of an investigation report, expert engagement letter, or chart for tracking pending investigations. The training series covers the following topics:

• An Overview of the Complaint Process
• An Overview of the Investigation Process
• Gathering Documentation
• Interviewing Techniques
• Report Writing
• Providing Expert Testimony

The Investigator Training Series can be accessed by selecting “Member Center” on the NASBA.org home page, and then choosing “Member Products & Services” from the dropdown menu.
