NASBA has recently launched a new training tool for the ALD, called ALD Training for Board Staff, designed to teach staffers how best to use the ALD. We feel confident that all Board staff members such as Executive Directors, Legal Counsel, Investigators, Managers and Administrators will find value in this helpful tool. The goal of this training video is to help ALD users get more comfortable with using the tool by learning how to maximize its ability to enhance day-to-day activities.

Here at NASBA, our goal is to enhance the effectiveness of state boards as they regulate the profession and protect the public. In other words, NASBA is here to help make your life at the Board as easy as possible.

Similar to our other ALD training tool called “Getting Started with the ALD and CPAverify” which covers Data Feeds, System Security, Data Integrity and System Features, the format of this new training makes the content really easy to manage. The training module is easy to navigate because the content is divided into chapters so you can easily manage the chapters and reference them later. You can also find important documents available for download under the Attachments tab, such as the ALD Security Statement and contact information for the ALD Manager. This tool is for you to use as you see fit.

This new training module is available when you log into your ALD account under the Help and Training tab. When you launch the video, you’ll notice to the left of the presentation, the chapters are listed under the Contents tab. You can revisit chapters that matter most to you or share certain relevant chapters with individual staff members at the Board, if you so choose. To give you an idea of the specifics that are covered, the complete list of chapters is listed below:
