NASBA is in the process of modernizing its existing infrastructure. This process will enhance NASBA infrastructure’s security, reliability, and resiliency. In order to complete this effort, NASBA is upgrading the technology supporting the Gateway and ALD Filedrop servers (sFTP Folders). This project requires creation of new unique credentials (login and password) for all users who are using Gateway or ALD Filedrop (sFTP Folders). The target date to start the migration of all the accounts is September 15, 2022, and NASBA needs to complete the migration in 60-90 days. Therefore, NASBA needs to quickly gather existing users’ data to ensure a successful and timely project completion. Failure to collect this data completely, may cause users to encounter Filedrop access issues.

In the past, various users at the Board may have shared credentials (login and password) to access the Gateway and ALD sFTP folders. The new system will not allow shared credentials. As such, NASBA requests that each Board complete this online form so that we will have a full list of all users. NASBA will use this information to create a separate account and credentials for each user. The table below provides an explanation for each column in the form. Please fill out a form for each user or system that would need access.

Please click the button below and complete the registration form by Friday, August 12, 2022. Once NASBA receives the information from your Board, NASBA will contact you to discuss next steps in migrating to the new sFTP site.

Below are the steps you can take to discover the IP Address that you are using to access the Filedrop (sFTP Location). Please do this for every computer from which you will be accessing the sFTP .

  1. Log on to the computer that you use to access Gateway/ALD Filedrop (sFTP Location).
  2. Open Gateway/ALD Filedrop (sFTP Location) then while it is open, minimize the FTP applications used to access the Filedrop.
  3. Open up a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
  4. Enter https://whatIsMyIPAddress.com
  5. Record the text beside IPv4 (screenshot below shows an example
