BOD Calls for Vote on Bylaws Changes

Proposed amendments to NASBA’s Bylaws will be voted upon during NASBA’s 114^th Annual Meeting, October 31 – November 3, 2021. Among the proposed amendments, include adding guidelines for a committee to search for a new president of the Association, giving the Board of Directors the authority to appoint an interim president and chief executive officer (if an unexpected vacancy occurs); as well as changes dealing with teleconferences for the Regional Meeting, the Nominating Committee, and other clean-up language.

During its July 2021 meeting, the NASBA Board unanimously approved the Bylaws changes, which were also approved by the Bylaws Committee and presented by Jimmy Burkes (MS), Chair of the Bylaws Committee.
