ABU DHABI (March 15, 2011) — His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces received at the Al-Bahar Palace today, Vice President of the U.S. National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Ken Bishop. Bishop was accompanied by Riad Abdel Rahman Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) and a number of staff enrolled for specialised training in accounting and auditing. They briefed Sheikh Mohammed on the time plan for the CPA examination to be conducted in Abu Dhabi next August.

The U.S. CPA exam is being offered internationally for the first time due to rapidly escalating international demand for U.S. CPA licensure, whereby more than 10,000 candidates travelled to the U.S. last year to take the exam marking a 22% increase from 2009.
