Troy A. Walker, CPA, serves as vice president and chief financial officer for NASBA and as chief financial officer and treasurer for the NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT). In these roles, Walker has responsibility for the financial activities, reporting, controls and compliance of NASBA and CPT in support of each organization’s mission.
Walker joined NASBA in March 1998. Prior to his current role, he served as chief accounting officer. Walker has also served in other capacities including director, finance and controller along with controller for Professional Credential Services (PCS), a previously wholly owned subsidiary of NASBA. Early in his career, he also worked as an auditor with a firm in Nashville.
Walker received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lipscomb University and a Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA). Walker also serves as assistant treasurer for his church.
He and his wife, Amy, live in Nashville and have three wonderful children.
