Roy Hall serves as chief information security and data privacy officer (CISO/DPO) of NASBA, which includes responsibilities for cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, privacy and compliance. He joined NASBA in 2014.

Prior to joining NASBA, Hall provided CISO, audit, ethical hacking and other security design consulting services to banks, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, marketing, financial institutions and other consulting firms. Before starting his own consulting firm, he had several technical and leadership positions in information technology, security, audit and compliance to include Fresenius Medical, Renal Care Group, Sprint Telecommunications, USAir and Piedmont airlines.

Hall is frequently invited to speak as an expert in cybersecurity at public and private events discussing today’s most relevant threats. He also works closely with the local FBI cybersecurity division, and was recently nominated as CISO of the year for the Nashville Technology Council.

Hall earned his degree from Nashville State Technical College, his B.S. degree from Mid America Nazarene College and now specializes in AWS cloud security tools and services. Hall also holds several security certifications that include AWS, CISSP, CISM, CRISC and CISA and specializes in logging systems, threat management, end point security and application security assurance.
