Lisa Dampf serves as chief human resources officer of NASBA. Dampf began her career with NASBA in 1997, when NASBA relocated its headquarters from New York to Tennessee. Throughout her tenure at NASBA, she has worked in a variety of roles including payroll manager, benefits manager and human resources director. She was named CHRO in August 2013.
Prior to joining NASBA, Dampf worked in adolescent psychiatric treatment as a director of admissions and marketing and business manager. In this role, Dampf collaborated with judges, court officials, doctors, counselors and educators to determine appropriate treatment for adolescents. She also has experience in the private benefit industry where she served as a senior account manager, working with wealth management and group benefit clients.
Dampf attended Lipscomb University and Nashville State Technical College. She holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management.
Among Dampf’s passions is helping individuals identify their strengths and talents. She has a genuine love of people and enjoys working with her team to develop programs to improve the culture at NASBA and to make employees recognize they are valued and appreciated. Dampf is also involved within the community. She developed a ladies’ program through her church and has coached youth softball and basketball teams through the years. She also loves spending time at the beach with her family.
