Hi. Can there be more score releasing dates for Q2, Q3 and Q4?
The schedule for the score release is made by the AICPA. Dates may change, but we won’t know that until the AICPA notifies us.
Thanks. I just took FAR few days ago but felt that I might fail it. Do I have enough time to apply for NTS and schedule another exam for early July if I can only find out about my score on June 27th?
Yes, you can reapply. It will typically take 72 hours from the time you apply to get your NTS. Let’s hope that you passed!
Thank you, Patricia! Can I see the available seats for early July in my area without scheduling for NTS?
Yes, you can go to prometric.com and use their seat availability tool.
Thank you! Is there a way for me to reserve a time slot without applying for a NTS yet? I see the seats are really tight in July. I’m afraid that there won’t be many available seats for my desiring dates after the scores are released.
No, but seats rarely fill up at the beginning of the window.
In June I sit for REG, which is my last test needed. Hypothetically, if I don’t pass this quarter, I can try to squeeze it in again in August; however, scores for August testing don’t release till middle of September and my BEC section expires 8/31. Does this mean I’ll need to retake BEC before finding out if I passed REG in August?
As long as you take your final section before your first section expires and receive a passing score when your score is released. None of your scores will expire until we receive your scores in September.
How is the scoring on the research question? Is there partial credit?
You can read about how the scoring works here: https://www.aicpa.org/…/how-the-cpa-exam-is-scored.pdf
This score release delay is a huge disadvantage to those of us who have passed one section. We don’t have as much time to study because we don’t know if we have passed. Will any consideration be given for this disadvantage? I read somewhere that it will be considered to add more time.
The Board of Accountancy is the only entity with authority to extend conditional credit. You will need to contact your board for exception to policy.
Hi, I got my score back for one of my sections last quarter and I was wondering if it’s possible to get the score details/break down? How well I did on the multiple choice questions versus the simulations?
This is only provided for failing scores. It will be on the back of your score notice. You can request that from your state coordinator. If you do not have contact information, we posted an image in this chat with contact information.
