Official Contest Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, submit valid contact information (including first and last name, company, address, city, state, zip and email address) via the online form, along with answering all of the questions on the survey. To be eligible, entries must be completed and received on or by 12:00 a.m. August 31, 2011. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, Inc. (NASBA). NASBA is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Entries received by telephone, fax, courier or personal delivery will not be accepted.
CONTEST RULES:

The Contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older on August 12, 2011, and who have agreed to these Rules. This Contest is not open to residents outside the United States. Employees of NASBA and its respective subsidiaries and associates and such employees’ immediate family members are excluded from this contest. You must have access to the Internet in order to enter.
In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”). Therefore, please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an Entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Rules. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and NASBA with respect to the Contest.
The Contest begins August 12, 2011, and ends August 31, 2011.
One entry per person.
The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
Decisions of the contest judges are final – no substitutions will be available.
By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, newspapers and other publications and in slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which NASBA may deem appropriate.
In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, Inc. (NASBA) may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
Detailed contest rules applicable to this contest, including contest entry dates, how to enter and prize value, number and any restrictions applicable to these prizes are available upon request from NASBA.
NASBA retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, Inc. (NASBA) reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
Participants agree that personal data including, but not limited to, name, mailing address and email address may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering the Contest. Further, this data may also be used by NASBA to verify a Participant’s identity and postal address in the event a Participant qualifies for any applicable prize as well as to deliver the applicable prize(s). Participants have the right to access, review, rectify or cancel any personal data held by NASBA in connection with the Contest by writing to NASBA at 150 Fourth Ave North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN 37219. If a Participant does not provide the required data when requested, that Participant’s Entries will be ineligible for any prizes. All information provided will be maintained in accordance with NASBA’s privacy policy, which Participants should read and understand, and will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest.
Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any Participant concerning identity, mailing address, email address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these Official Rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the Participant from the Contest. NASBA further reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, or violates U.S. law.
NASBA is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission. NASBA is not responsible for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind. NASBA is not responsible for inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by NASBA on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof, except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of NASBA. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, NASBA reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. NASBA further reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the submission process or any other part of the Contest. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, NASBA reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent of the applicable law.
