Pitney Bowes Executive Robbie Narcisse Receives Prestigious Award From NASBA Center for the Public Trust

NASHVILLE, TN and STAMFORD, CT (February 27, 2012) – Established in 2007, The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) Being a Difference Award program, recognizes individuals and organizations that practice high standards of social responsibility and ethical leadership in business. On Tuesday, February, 21, NASBA CPT leaders presented the prestigious Being a Difference Award to Robbie Narcisse, Vice President of Global Ethics and Business Practices for Pitney Bowes. The presentation was made during a reception held in her honor at the Pitney Bowes National Office in Stamford, CT.

In her ethics and compliance role, Narcisse is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to ensure that its worldwide business operations are conducted in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and that Pitney Bowes policies and procedures are implemented with the highest ethical standards. Through her leadership, Pitney Bowes was recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2010 and also named to the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” list for four consecutive years. These honors can be attributed to the company’s implementation of ethical business practices and initiatives that benefit customers, shareholders, employees and communities.

Narcisse assumed her Global Ethics leadership role in 2005 and her EHS role in 2009. The 23-year tenured Pitney Bowes veteran also manages the organization’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program and Corporate Crisis Management team. She previously served as Deputy General Counsel-Corporate where she managed a staff of attorneys and provided commercial legal advice and counsel t o the company’s various divisions.

Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Narcisse was an associate in the Litigation Department of Weil, Gotshal & Magnes, based in New York. A graduate of the University of California’s Boalt Hall School of Law and Stanford University, she is currently a member of the board of directors of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, and maintains membership in the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
