SHARE: Author: Noëlle Liger-Burton, Compliance Services Account Manager Attention CPAs in Puerto Rico! The three-year CPE reporting period for your license ends on July 31, 2024. How are you tracking your Continuing Professional Education (CPE)? Did you know that the Puerto Rico Board of Accountancy and NASBA offer all Puerto Rico CPAs the NASBA-sponsored CPE Audit Service to track and maintain CPE? Are you already taking advantage of this tool? If not, here is why you should consider making it part of your CPE tracking process:
If an email address was provided to the Puerto Rico Board of Accountancy, newly licensed CPAs automatically receive a registration email from NASBA with their registration code. If you did not receive this registration email, you can request this information by emailing [email protected]. Be sure to include your name, confirm your jurisdiction and CPA license number with your request. NASBA has also created a video tutorial to assist you with the registration and login process once you have obtained the code. Once you are logged into the system, the ‘Help’ link at the top of the page will provide video and written tutorials for how to use the site, including entering your CPE credits and uploading CPE certificates for documentation. If you experience technical issues while logging into the system or while uploading credits, please contact NASBA’s CPE Audit Service Support Team at [email protected] for assistance. |
