The NASBA Center for the Public Trust  (CPT) addresses the issue of ethics and ethical behavior in business, education, public policy and society, while promoting a positive perspective on activities within the business and accounting communities. The CPT addresses ethics and ethical leadership through co-sponsored events nationally with prominent colleges and universities, firms and other ethics organizations.

By encouraging ethical deliberations, CPT strives to stir the moral conscience and imagination. Historically, negative events in the business community have been considered newsworthy. CPT stands out because its objective is to “tell the good news”. In the regularly published newsletter, Ethics Matters, readers will find stories highlighting those who elevate the ethical threshold in the business world, articles addressing ethics and ethical behavior as well as a positive perspective on activities within the CPT, business and accounting communities.
