CPA Mobile App Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Over the past year, the CPA Mobile App has become an increasingly valuable resource for CPA candidates, providing convenient, on-the-go access to important information throughout the examination process. As we celebrate the app’s first anniversary, we’re excited to share key milestones, enhancements and feedback from candidates.

Downloads and Continued Growth

As of November 2, 2026, the CPA Mobile App has reached a total of 87,590 downloads!

The total downloads have more than doubled in the last five months, demonstrating growing adoption and engagement among CPA Exam candidates. Downloads span across the United States, Japan and India, showcasing the app’s reach and value to candidates around the world.

The CPA Mobile App continues to evolve in 2026, with new features designed to make key steps in the CPA Exam process more convenient and accessible for candidates.

Apple Pay and Google Pay: Candidates can now make payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay, in addition to credit cards. Since their introduction, mobile payment options have accounted for more than half of all app-based transactions, underscoring the demand for a faster, more convenient payment experience.

CPA Exam Scheduling: Candidates who schedule Exam sections through Prometric can now view their scheduled appointments directly in the app, making it easier to keep track of upcoming testing dates.

NASBot Integration: NASBA’s AI-powered chatbot, NASBot, is now integrated into the app, giving candidates convenient access to answers and support without leaving the CPA Mobile App.

These enhancements reflect the CPA Mobile App’s growing role in simplifying the CPA journey and meeting the evolving needs of candidates.

Continuing the Momentum

NASBA will continue to explore new opportunities to enhance the CPA Mobile App and deliver value throughout the entire candidate journey.

Upcoming initiatives include the integration of the licensing system and expanded functionality for the CPE Audit Service tool, extending the app’s usefulness beyond the CPA Exam into licensure and continuing education phases of a CPA’s career.
