Redesigned CPAverify and ALD Sites

NASBA has refreshed its CPAverify.org and ALD.nasba.org websites with a modern design and improved functionality, providing visitors and Board of Accountancy users with a more intuitive, efficient user experience.
Free and open to the public, CPAverify.org is NASBA’s CPA lookup tool populated with official state regulatory data sourced directly from Boards of Accountancy to a central database. The website represents the first ever single-source national database of licensed CPAs and CPA firms. The redesigned site now features a cleaner layout, faster navigation, and enhanced usability – making it easier for individuals and employers to confirm CPA licensure and firm status.
The Accountancy Licensee Database (ALD) supports State Boards of Accountancy in their regulatory mission by serving as a central repository for current licensee and firm information. NASBA’s goal is to house accurate and up-to-date licensing and disciplinary records for individual CPAs and CPA firms from each of the 55 U.S. jurisdictions.
With the new ALD platform, state board representatives can log in using their existing Okta credentials —no re-registration required. Updates include:
- Enhanced license search functionality for faster, more precise results
- Access to a variety of reports
- A streamlined interface for viewing of information shared by other boards
- Ability to upload disciplinary records for both in-state and out-of-state licensees practicing under mobility
These updates reflect NASBA’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful tools and resources that strengthen regulatory effectiveness and advance the common interests of the Boards of Accountancy.
