For students, the CPA pathway to licensure can be difficult to navigate with each State Board of Accountancy having its own set of requirements and application procedures.

Firms must often figure out if a firm registration is needed for their out-of-state offices or to work with their out-of-state clients. Firms may struggle making sure the firm as well as their professionals always remain compliant with state-by-state requirements.

NASBA created the Accountancy Licensing Library (ALL) as a central database of CPA and firm licensing requirements and application forms for the 55 U.S. jurisdictions. Rather than visiting each state board website, the ALL serves as a one-stop shop to address all licensing needs.

With these two following components, students and firms can benefit from the ALL in a variety of ways:

    • Research Tool offers various reports based on a selection of criteria showing the jurisdiction(s) where:
      • Students are potentially eligible for the Exam and/or for Licensure depending on their location, age, residency, educational and experience criteria.
      • Firms are required to register, undergo peer review.
      • Individual or firm mobility is applicable.
    • State-by-State Details provide access to CPA Initial and Reciprocal Licensure, Firm Registration, Practice Privileges/Mobility, CPE requirements along with step-by-step application instructions and state board forms in a fillable PDF format.

Don’t wait and be sure to subscribe today!

Students check the ALL website at www.alllibrary.com for:

    • The Research Tool is available for a 24-hour subscription, unlimited access to eligibility reports, for only $10.
    • Once you have or if you already have determined your preferred jurisdiction for licensure, you can purchase a three-month jurisdiction-specific subscription for only $45.
