What a year its been for NASBA! The Annual Report, which is released each fall during the NASBA Annual Meeting, details some of the amazing achievements and milestones the organization has accomplished over a year’s time. CPA Evolution successfully launched and administration of a new CPA Exam began, signifying the biggest advancement to the Exam since computerization.
NASBA Board of Directors approved UAA Exposure Draft for re-exposure through April 2024.The prosed revisions would increase the number of months conditional credit can be provided to a candidate from 18 to 24 months and provide clarity as to a state board’s authority to allowing additional time to candidates.
NASBA announced its support of the Accounting STEM Pursuit Act Federal Legislation, which if passed, would recognize accounting as part of STEM programs in schools.
Winners of the CPT’s 2024 Ethics in Action Student Video Competition were announced.
NASBA, AICPA and ARPL proudly supported the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act.
