NASHVILLE, TENN., (October 2, 2018) – The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) recently selected a new class of honorees for the 2018 Bill Daniels Being a Difference Award, which recognizes individuals practicing high standards of ethical leadership in business and within their communities. This year’s recipients include Robert Bray, John Ikard and Emmanuel Lulin.

Robert Bray, CEO of Bray Real Estate, earns the trust of clients with his commitment to integrity and the desire to see people achieve their dreams. Bray’s company, a leader in real estate services in Colorado, instills in employees “The Bray Way,” which believes in correcting a situation regardless of its obstacles. Exuding fairness, trust and transparency, Bray demonstrates the characteristics this award promotes.

John Ikard, Former President & CEO of FirstBank, has held numerous leadership positions, including past chairman of the American Bankers Association and serving on the Federal Reserve Board of Kansas City. Under Ikard’s leadership, FirstBank recorded 12 consecutive years of record profits and was the second largest corporate contributor in the state of Colorado from 2014-2016.

Emmanuel Lulin, Senior Vice President & Chief Ethics Officer of L’Oreal, holds a Master of Laws from Chicago University and a law degree from the French Universities of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Paris II (Assas) and was admitted into the Paris Bar in 1988. He previously practiced as a corporate and tax attorney for Debevoise & Plimpton in Paris and New York before joining L’Oreal in 1999. Lulin has served on the Board of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Association in the United States and on the Board of the Cercle Ethique des Affaires in France.

Established in 2006, the CPT’s Being a Difference Award selects recipients through a national committee focused on identifying individuals who go beyond their expected professional and personal responsibilities to be a positive influence.
