NASBA Modernizes Key Websites
Three of NASBA’s most utilized online resources—CPAMobility.org, CPAverify.org and ALD.org—have been relaunched with modern interfaces, enhanced features and streamlined navigation to facilitate a seamless user experience.
CPAMobility.org, is a tool that helps CPAs determine where and how they can practice across state lines. The redesigned website features simplified navigation and enhanced functionality, allowing individuals to search for licensing requirements for different jurisdictions and determine if mobility applies, as many states have adopted mobility legislation. Updates to the site will allow users to conduct state-by-state searches with ease and view summaries that are concise, verified and approved by the State Boards of Accountancy (Boards) for accuracy and completeness.
Free and open to the public, CPAverify.org is a CPA lookup tool populated by official state regulatory data sent from Boards of Accountancy to a central database. The website represents the first ever single-source national database of licensed CPAs and CPA firms. Updates have been made to the site to give it a modernized, streamlined look for easy navigation.
The Accountancy Licensee Database (ALD) exists to assist state boards with their regulatory mission as a central repository of current licensee and firm information. When logging into the new ALD site, board users will no longer have to re-register – the same Okta credentials used in the past can be used on the new site. Updates include an enhanced license search functionality for more efficient searching, access to a variety of reports tailored to users, and a streamlined view of information shared by other boards. Users can also now upload disciplinary records for their own licensees and for out-of-state licensees practicing under mobility.
With every update, NASBA continues its commitment to improving the tools and services that empower and support the Boards of Accountancy.
