          9:00 am – 3:00 pm: Guest Tour – Kentucky Derby and Louisville Slugger Museums

              Get ready to enjoy and experience the two most popular attractions in Louisville…… The Kentucky Derby and the Louisville Slugger. Start your day with a visit to the Derby Museum. Interactive, family-friendly exhibits take you through every stage of a Thoroughbred’s life, from birth to the First Saturday in May. Learn all about the great history of the race dating all the way back to the inaugural running in 1875 up to the present by experiencing all the traditions that have transformed the race to what it is today.

                Enjoy lunch at a Louisville favorite, O’Shea’s and then head over to take your baseball knowledge to the next level. Your visit to the Louisville Slugger Museum begins with a thrilling movie that transports you to the forests and mill, where every Louisville Slugger bat begins. After that, walk through the heart of the factory production line and get a behind the scenes scoop on the bat making process. You will also see a gallery of memorabilia from such past Hall of Famers such as Babe Ruth, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, and Derk Jeter.


                  Thursday, June 6

                    5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Run for the Roses Closing Celebration

                        And we’re off to the races! The finish line aka the Closing Celebration for the 2024 NASBA Eastern Regional Meetings will be at Churchill Downs, home of the most famous horse track in the world. Experience the thrill of real-live horse racing as we celebrate the evening in great conversation, southern cuisine, divine drinks, and being able to participate in Derby Traditions. Come dressed in your best Kentucky Derby attire.
