NASBA recently added a new staff member to the ALD project, Elizabeth Bachhuber, in the role of ALD Manager, a new manager-level position that is completely dedicated to the ALD. With the increased focus on the ALD and CPAverify and serving State Boards, NASBA leadership determined that someone in this manager-level role was needed to support the service.
Ms. Bachhuber earned her Bachelor degree in International Business and Spanish from Northeastern University in Boston. During that time, she had the opportunity to live and work in Madrid, Spain where she worked at Warner Brothers International TV Division. For the past three years, before her employment with NASBA, Ms. Bachhuber sold comprehensive energy efficiency projects to County and City Mayors and their Commissions and Councils and to School Superintendents and their school boards.
“I’m excited by what’s been accomplished with the ALD and CPAverify so far and by the sheer potential that this database can bring to the profession,” says Elizabeth, “and I am happy to join you in its constant improvement.”
Originally from New Hampshire, Ms. Bachhuber has been residing in Nashville for the past three years. She has six nieces and nephews and recently became engaged to be married later this year.
Elizabeth will be attending the ALD Committee Meeting at the upcoming ED Conference in San Antonio and is looking forward to connecting face-to-face with State Board EDs and staff.
