Golf Outing – Port Royal Robber’s Row Golf CourseRobber’s Row was designed in 1967 by noted architects George W. Cobb and Willard C. Byrd and was redesigned in 1994 by world famous architect Pete Dye. The course is located on the scenic marsh side of the Port Royal Plantation and cuts through beautiful strands of magnolia and live oaks. This course sets atop former Civil War grounds and features historical markers throughout the course, describing events which took place on the Island. Although tee-shots have generous fairways to land in, approach shots require accuracy to the well-protected greens. Robber’s Row is a course rich in history and challenging to any golfer.

Group Tour – Gullah Heritage Tour

Learn about the fascinating Gullah Culture native to the South Carolina Lowcountry. The Gullahs are descendants of West African slaves who worked the rice and cotton fields before they were freed.

Gullahs lived in isolation for generations, allowing them to maintain their African culture longer than any slave descendants in America. Hear 4th generation Gullah family members relate firsthand stories of traditional food ways, family life, and the unique Gullah language. Highlights include The Old One-Room School House, Plantation Tabby Ruins, and the Historic Marker of the First Freedom Village. Halfway through the tour you will take a break and have a chance to walk out on a boardwalk for a refreshing view of the Atlantic Ocean.
