To start your day, you will make your way to Fenway Park, one of Boston’s premier attractions and Major League Baseball’s oldest ballpark. Here, we will learn about these historic grounds, from the opening of the ballpark in 1912 to the sale of Babe Ruth, and the history between the two notable teams, the Red Sox and the Yankees, throughout the years. Next, you will head to one of Boston’s most historic neighborhoods, Beacon Hill, where lunch will be served at a neighborhood favorite. Then, see the Federal-style rowhouses, narrow gaslit streets, and walk the brick sidewalks that adorn the streets. Also, learn and hear stories of why Beacon Hill is regarded as one of the most desirable and expensive neighborhoods in Boston. Finally, enjoy some free time and shopping starting on the streets of Beacon Hill and back toward the hotel, at the world-famous Newbury Street shops.
