SHARE: NASBA and the ALD/CPAverify Committee are excited to announce that participation in the national database has now reached 52 Boards of Accountancy. The milestone came this week when the Wisconsin Board of Accountancy completed implementation and was officially added to the internal Board resource on Tuesday. Launched on August 31, 2005, the ALD is a central repository of current licensee and firm information created to assist Boards of Accountancy with regulatory efforts. The goal is for the database to continue to grow to 100% participation by the 55 accounting jurisdictions. A special thank you to all the many dedicated Board Members, Executive Directors, Legal Counsel, IT personnel and other Board Staff that have contributed to this achievement. |
