Enforcement Newsletter

November 2014

In 2013, the Enforcement Resources Committee created a database to help boards locate CPAs who are interested in working with a board as either an investigator or expert witness. The relationship might be long-term or simply on a case-by-case basis.

PoolsThe databases are populated by CPAs entering their information into an online form, which also provides the CPA with the opportunity to attach their CV or other professional information. The Executive Directors can then access this information when searching for CPAs with particular experience or other qualifications.

To help communicate this opportunity to interested CPAs, the State Society Relations Committee has agreed to support this effort by encouraging the state societies to share the application links with their members via websites, newsletters, etc. It is also a great idea to periodically share this information on the board websites to help new CPAs become aware of this opportunity. The links are provided below for your convenience in promoting this tool to your licensees!
