International education and experience issues are impacting CPA exam and license applicants on a daily basis. NASBA continues to respond to these and other emerging accounting trends by enhancing the content and options available within the ALL resource to help meet the needs of Boards of Accountancy, Colleges/Universities, CPA Firms and Individuals. Since our last announcement in the November issue, more additions have been made to the ALL Research Tool within the Accountancy Licensing Library that include information relating to work experience confirmation and evaluations of international education, as well as general CPA examination information:

  • The ALL Research Tool now allows users to run reports on the work experience confirmation required for all jurisdictions and determine if applicants must have their experience directly Supervised by an active licensee, or if their experience can simply be Verified by an active licensee who is knowledgeable of the work experience.
  • Users can now quickly view a list of the jurisdictions that accept NASBA International Evaluation Services (NIES) for evaluations of international education and/or which jurisdictions now require NIES. This data has been added for both examination and licensure.
  • CPA Examination and pre-evaluation information has also been added to the list of criteria. Users can now run reports using the ALL Research Tool and quickly determine which jurisdictions require applications be processed by NASBA CPA Examination Services, and which jurisdictions offer pre-evaluation of education before applying to sit for the exam.

Based on Accountancy Board and client feedback, NASBA continually evaluates the relevancy of frequently requested information and makes determinations for additions to the ALL Research Tool. The content contained in ALL is kept current using a rigorous maintenance process, so users can receive real-time information and reports.

Any Executive Directors or Board Staff not familiar with the Accountancy Licensing Library (ALL) may reach out to Leona Johnson at [email protected] for more information and to request a complimentary account. The ALL is a free resource to Boards of Accountancy.
